Thank you for your interest in publishing with Tarbiyah: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Pengajaran. Please read these guidelines before submitting so that the review process runs smoothly and quickly.

Article Types

The journal accepts two types of articles:

Original Article

Reports original research that has not been previously published, using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches. Structured as introduction, methods, results and discussion, and conclusion.

Review Article

A critical review and synthesis of current literature on a topic in Islamic education, such as a systematic or narrative review, that identifies research gaps and directions for future work.

Submission Process

SubmitUpload your file and complete the metadata.
Review & ReviseDouble-blind review, then revise per feedback.
PublishedAccepted, APC paid, article published online.

Pre-Submission Checklist

  • The manuscript is original, previously unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere
  • Turnitin similarity does not exceed 20%
  • The manuscript follows the journal template
  • Author names and identifying details have been removed from the manuscript file
  • Ethical approval and informed consent are stated where human participants are involved, and conflicts of interest are disclosed
  • Citations and references are managed with Mendeley or Zotero and follow one consistent style

Make sure the manuscript file contains no author names, affiliations, or other identifying information, including in the document properties. Author details are entered only in the OJS submission metadata.

Reference Management

We recommend that authors use one of the following reference managers to keep citations and reference lists consistent:

Mendeley

Manage your library, insert citations through the Word plugin, and build the reference list automatically. mendeley.com

Zotero

An open-source reference manager with a Word plugin and a browser connector that captures citations directly. zotero.org

Use the [APA 7th edition] citation style. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

Fees, Licensing, and Copyright

There is no submission fee. The Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 200,000 applies only after a manuscript is accepted. Articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license, and authors retain copyright. See the Open Access Policy for details.
