Plagiarism Policy
Tarbiyah does not tolerate plagiarism in any form. Every submitted manuscript is checked with Turnitin before it enters peer review.
Similarity threshold
Proceeds to review. The manuscript is assigned to an editor and reviewers.
Returned to authors. Authors must revise the text and resubmit before the manuscript can be reviewed.
What we consider plagiarism
- Copying text without quotation and citation
- Paraphrasing another work without credit
- Presenting others’ ideas or data as one’s own
- Self-plagiarism and duplicate publication
If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the case is handled under our Correction and Retraction policy, following the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
